A custom surgical guide turns your digital treatment plan into a precise physical pathway for implant placement. Think of it as GPS for implant surgery: planned before treatment, then carefully transferred to your mouth.

What is guided implant surgery?
A surgical guide is a custom-made device created from your 3D scans and digital records. It fits over your teeth or gums and guides the instruments along the position planned by your dentist.
This gives the clinical team greater control over the implant’s position, angle and depth. In suitable cases, it can also support a more efficient procedure with a smaller surgical opening.
Your treatment journey
We examine your mouth, understand your goals and use a CBCT scan and digital records to study the tooth, bone and nearby anatomy.
The implant is planned around the position of your future tooth—not simply where bone is available. Its angle, depth and relationship to important structures are reviewed before surgery.
Using our digital workflow, a custom surgical guide is designed for your mouth, printed and checked before your appointment.
The guide is seated securely and helps transfer the digital plan to the mouth, controlling the planned drilling path and implant position.
Your implant is monitored while it integrates with the bone. A temporary tooth may be possible in selected cases, depending on stability and your bite.
After healing, we create the final crown and check its appearance, bite and cleansability. Ongoing reviews help protect the result.

Two approaches
Both approaches can be appropriate when carefully planned. Our guided workflow adds a physical reference that helps reproduce the intended position during surgery.

The implant supports a custom crown designed to blend with the surrounding teeth while restoring function. Clinical outcome shown is one patient’s result; individual outcomes vary.

Is a single implant suitable for you?
A single implant may be considered when one tooth is missing or cannot be predictably restored. Your gum health, bone, bite, medical history and expectations all affect the plan.
Not every case is suitable for guided placement, and some patients may require bone or gum preparation. We will explain the available options, limitations, timing and costs after examining you.
